Sunday School & Youth

We are committed to providing a safe and caring environment for children and youth to learn about the Christian faith.

Sunday School

We have a core of dedicated volunteer teachers who know the importance of sharing the stories of faith with children. Resources for teachers include curriculum from the United Church of Christ and the support and input of the pastor.

From the nursery through middle school, children not only learn the basics of faith, but also make friends and participate in plays and projects. Childcare is available throughout the year for infants and toddlers.

The children begin their Sunday in worship with their families. A "Message for the Young" is a part of each weeks service afterwhich the children go to their classes. On the first Sunday of each month, the community has an integenerational service so that families can share Holy Communion together.

Youth

After confirmation, youth are welcomed into the life of the church as full members. Youth-focused events are scheduled regularly as part of the community life of the congregation.
